The Creative Industries Council has launched a new toolkit to support creative industries to deliver economic growth and job creation in the UK. The ‘Toolkit for Cities and Regions’ sets out a range of initiatives for local authorities and other stakeholders. Initiatives include support to develop local ‘creative clusters’ and hubs, strengthen digital and creative skills and help creative firms innovate. The toolkit also includes a series of case studies highlighting local initiatives that have successfully grown the creative industries in areas across the UK.
