SUE WILLIS DESIGNSPen and ink drawings and silk paintings

Sue is a self taught artist living in the lovely town of Frome, with her family and cat. She specialises in very detailed pen and ink drawings, often mandala based, and taking inspiration from nature.

‘I love the reliable, repetitive nature of mandala designs and the freedom of fantasy images. In contrast to my pen and ink work, I enjoy the random nature of silk painting, using salt and colour blending to achieve special effects, never knowing exactly how they will turn out.’

Sue is very happy to take commissions and likes the challenge of working on different materials – get in touch at
