DANCEFIT WITH EMMACreative Dance and Fitness classes for all ages.
I studied BA (Hons) Dance Studies at Middlesex University, and gained a Certificate of Education from Exeter University in 2001. Since then, I have taught at a range of schools and colleges in the South West. I have also been an ‘A’ Level Dance practical examiner for AQA and an external verifier for Pearson/Edexcel exam boards. Since 2012, ‘Dance Fit with Emma’ has provided creative dance and dance fitness classes. These include Zumba, FitSteps, Barre Class, Over 55’s Dance classes in the Yeovil and surrounding areas.
I teach dance and performance skills for Stagecoach Performing Arts Yeovil. In 2018 I qualified as Postural Stability and OTAGO Falls Prevention Instructor and was appointed Lead Dance Artist for Take Art’s Our Turn Dance and Dementia Project. I also specialise in chair-based dance classes with are accessible and fun for all.
