CORRINNE CURTISProducer, Actor, and Creative Practitioner

I’m a Somerset born-and-bred actor, puppeteer and producer with over a decade of professional industry experience. I create theatre productions which are energetic, imaginative, playful, touching and charming and am currently developing work which integrates access, particularly British Sign Language, into productions from the outset.
As a working class, unpaid carer from an area of low social mobility, I have a real interest in breaking down barriers to accessing arts and culture and changing ideas of who theatre can be for.
In 2021 I was awarded an Arts Council England “Developing Your Creative Practice” grant to develop as a Producer, with mentoring and project-shadowing from Wassail Theatre Company and Jake Orr, former Producer at Nottingham Playhouse.
